Mark's
Screenwriters Network was formed from writers whom he
met over the last five years at various screenwriting
workshops and jobs in the film biz. The group is non-competitive,
and seeks to create an environment where we all can continue
to learn, develop, discuss, share and ultimately succeed
as writers.

An assortment of at least twenty writers meet every tuesday
at 7PM chez moi. The evening usually starts with a DVD
on screenwriting from Mark's vast library and one or two
readings. We workshop Scripts (or parts there of) Shorts,
Loglines, Synopsis's, Show Bibles or whatever a group
member needs constructive criticism on. The group is so
productive we are having a very hard time scheduling all
the material. That is a good sign!!!!

The evenings are INVITE ONLY so please don't turn up on
my doorstep...even if you come with tasty treats!
Mark
is also on the selection committee for the WILDsound screenwriting
series, a monthly forum featuring top screenwriters from
around the world. He is also the Director of the 2007
Screenwriting Competition at the Female Eye Film Festival
in Toronto.
